Obama Orders FBI To Give Miranda Warnings To Terrorist Officers Captured in Afghanistan War

After a fact finding trip to Afghanistan, House Intelligence Committee member, Rep. Mike Rogers, reports that the Obama Justice Department has ordered FBI agents to read Miranda rights to high value detainees captured and held at U.S. detention facilities in Afghanistan.

In short, our government is now telling foreign al Qaeda and Taliban officers captured in Afghanistan while at war with our troops that they have a constitutional right to silence and an attorney! Worse yet, Red Cross representatives are actually instructing these terrorist leaders to invoke this right to silence.

It was bad enough when President Obama replaced the military and CIA with the Justice Department and FBI in what is a foreign war with al Qaeda and its allies, but the utter madness of telling captured al Qaeda officers that they do not have to speak with our intelligence officers is simply mind boggling.
